4/13 & 4/14 - Extended Phone Hours

 We have extended our phone hours for today, Saturday, 4/13/2024 and we will be open tonight until Midnight EST.

Tomorrow, Sunday, 4/14/2024 we will be open from Noon - 10pm EST

Official First Day E-File is Jan 29th

 This is just a friendly message letting you know the IRS has announced the first official day for e-filing is January 29th, 2024 with the last day of e-file without extension this year being April 15th, 2024.

You can still submit returns and have them sit at the EFC waiting to be e-filed and they may be sent as early as next week (around 15th of Jan) during the Testing phase.  Keep in mind, once you send a tax return to the EFC we can NOT stop it, or retrieve it.

Key 2024 filing season dates

• January 12: IRS Free File opens.
• January 16: Due date for 2023 fourth quarter estimated tax payments.
• January 26: Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day.
• January 29: Filing season start date for individual tax returns.
• April 15: Due date of filing a tax return or to request an extension for most of the nation.
• April 17: Due date for Maine and Massachusetts.
• October 15: Due date for extension filers.
